“This is a fantastic ‘learning through play’ toy. Each cube has a letter and a corresponding picture and when you place it in the console and press down you hear the sound of the letter on top plus the name of the picture that goes with it. My 22-month-old loved the brightly coloured pictures and after hearing the sounds, she was soon trying to copy. It really is a fun lesson in phonics – and came in useful for my friend’s three-year-old who has just started learning phonics at nursery.
She loved the hunt-the-letter quiz mode, which kept her occupied for ages. It’s light and compact – would fit easily in a generous handbag for more fun and learning on-the-go. Great value for money, too.”
