All us devoted mums (and dads) need a treat now and again. I don't mean airy-fairy stuff like a lie-in or breakfast in bed (although if any kids are reading this, it would be nice). But I mean something lovely and that we may choose to buy for ourselves (or drop heavy hints for our halves to buy for us). It doesn't have to cost the earth, just something that looks/sounds/smells/tastes gorgeous.

I have what I call Mum's Wish/Want List. Most of the time it's in my head, except when it gets close to birthdays and Christmas... and then I start dropping heavy hints (pages ripped from magazines, emailed instructions, that kind of thing).

So I just thought I'd share with you a couple of things I bought recently from my own wishlist - I'd love to hear yours.

1. DKNY Be Delicious fragrance (£29.39, available from Debenhams). It's not just the crisp appley scent - although it is delicious and perfect for summer.  But this Limited Edition Pop Art-inspired bottle is so stunning, I couldn't wait for it to transform my dressing table into something super stylish.

2. Clinique Vitamin C Lip Smoothie (£13.50), Debenhams). This is sleek and stylish and I love the way it not only gives me great colour, but it does my lips good, as well.
