If like us you're staying at home this half-term, then you're probably planning some days out to keep the little darlings out of trouble entertained. Here are some fab ideas - but if you have any suggestions you'd like to add, please do leave your comments below:
Thinktank in Birmingham is holding a ‘Beauty of Science’ Family Show (complete with multi-coloured fire tornadoes), and over at the LEGO Robo Lab at the new Creation Animation Workshop visitors will learn how to make animations like ‘Wallace and Gromit’. (For younger visitors, there are special storytelling sessions.)

You can discover the spooky past of Hampton Court Palace on a ghost tour for all the family. Hear tales of past Kings and Queens including Henry VIII as you tour the darkened Palace, exploring hidden corridors and ancient artefacts. Kids can also fill out a free 'ghost investigators' booklet along the way. Mwwah-ha-ha.

The London Eye is being transformed into a spooky forest for half term, and you can even take a Trick or Treat flight... but be warned, there may be some unexpected guests on board.
