My (slightly unsuitable) Mum Crush

Now unless you've been living in an isolation tank for the past few months, you will surely have heard the name Robert Pattinson. Until last weekend, I couldn't really see what all the fuss was about, in fact I thought it was just a typical teen craze. But then I watched Twilight on Sky  and suddenly it's become very clear to me, because Robert Pattinson is completely gorgeous.

  Robert Pattinson - Twilight

At first I thought it was just his character, the vampire Edward Cullen. But then I saw him being interviewed on GMTV , and even with his usual (British) accent and colour in his cheeks he's still lovely. (And OK, he's 23, but I'm not really old enough to be his mother.) I couldn't even really remember him in Harry Potter, but now he's all grown up.

And it seems I'm not the only one with a Slightly Unsuitable Mum Crush. My friend Vicky is crazy about Jedward. One of my Mummy Blogger friends adores the Jonas Brothers. So far I haven't come across anyone who likes Zac Efron, but it is, I imagine, only a matter of time.

I'm not sure where these crushes come from, and I'm sure a psychologist would have a field day. Usually the likes of George Clooney and Owen Wilson are on the top of my desert island list, but right now it's Robert Pattinson, and if I can borrow my niece then I'll be first in the queue for New Moon when it opens this weekend.

Who's your unsuitable Mum Crush - and do you tell your partner or embarrass your kids? I'd love to know.
