So, I was on my way back home from the BMB Christmas lunch last Wednesday when, after a few days of grey skies, the sun suddenly started to shine across Trafalgar Square, illuminating the silver star on top of the famous tree. In the distance you can see the Houses of Parliament and for a brief moment it almost seemed warm.
(It’s a bit of an optical illusion this photo – the tree is very straight and it makes Nelson’s Column look like it’s leaning).
*This is my entry to the Gallery – the theme this week is ‘sparkle’.
