Furthermore, they also said that funding their children&#8217;s education is more important than contributing to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidstart.co.uk\/partner\/ScottishFriendly.aspx\">retirement savings<\/a><\/strong>.\r\n<h3>Taking on Debt<\/h3>\r\nWhat&#8217;s more shocking is that more than 40 per cent also admitted they would take on debt, to <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidstart.co.uk\/partner\/ScottishFriendly.aspx\">support their child through university or college<\/a><\/strong>.\r\n\r\nThe research found that the main obstacle is <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.kidstart.co.uk\/partner\/ScottishFriendly.aspx\">planning<\/a><\/strong>.
