Tourism<\/a> has experienced a revolution in the past 50 years!<\/h2>\r\nIn 1950 there were nearly 25 million international tourists crossing boarders in a single year; today there are\u00a0<\/strong>around 1.2 billion people travelling the world. Travelling has become a huge part of many people\u2019s lives.<\/strong>\r\n\r\nWhen we travel<\/a><\/strong>, we come across new people, new sights, and new ideas. Often our perception of the\r\nworld changes as we see more of it. We definitely become better people.\r\n\r\nHowever, we must not forget that for many parents, travelling with kids can be quite a difficult process.\r\n

Travel Stress<\/h3>\r\nTraveling<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>is stressful enough for people without kids. Add restless, impatient, volatile, and messy little ones and it makes for a whole new experience!<\/span> This\u00a0can prevent many parents enjoying<\/span> the privileges of traveling to experience other\u00a0cultures, nature at its fullest and feeling the thrill of embarking on a journey to explore\u00a0new sights and new places.\r\n\r\nTravel<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>for people with children should therefore be <\/span>at the heart and at the center of tourism policies and business\u00a0strategies. Not as human rights only which is important on its own, but also as a great market potential\u00a0and as a great business opportunity.\r\n

World Tourism Day<\/a><\/h3>\r\nAs we celebrate World Tourism Day<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>today, let us recall that all of the world\u2019s citizens have the right to\r\nexperience the incredible diversity of our planet and the beauty of the world we live in.\r\n

We thus urge all countries and destinations, as well as all the industry stakeholders, to promote\r\naccessibility for all in the physical environment, in the transport systems, in the public facilities and\r\nservices and in the information and communications channels.<\/p>\r\nKidStart wishes you a very very happy World Tourism Day<\/a>\u00a0<\/strong>and a future full of enriching and compelling travel\u00a0experiences to be enjoyed by all parents.\r\n
