However, by keeping these tips in mind, you could be on your way to making this Christmas as stress-free as possible.<\/strong>\r\n\r\n<h3>Plan, plan, plan<\/h3>\r\n\r\nWith young children running around, bursting with excitement, Christmas Day can be pretty hectic, so it\u2019s important to plan ahead. This includes, shopping, food, presents, decorations &#8211; and even seating plans if you really want to be organised.\r\n\r\nMake as detailed a list as possible and try to prioritise as much as you can \u2013 not everything is essential.\r\n\r\n<h3>Shop online<\/h3>\r\n\r\nThere\u2019s no doubt that shopping in your local store has many advantages, but pushing a trolley around a busy supermarket with kids hanging off it, isn\u2019t fun. So, turn your computer on and order your bits for Christmas lunch online. This will save you a lot of time and grey hairs!\r\n\r\n<h3>Christmas cards<\/h3>\r\n\r\nBegin to write your mountain of Christmas cards as early as possible. In fact, many people begin to receive Christmas cards from the start to mid-November, so if you can, try to write a few each day.\r\n\r\n<h3>Know when to stop working<\/h3>\r\n\r\nIf you\u2019re a working parent, it\u2019s important to decide when you will stop working for the Christmas period. Remember, it\u2019s your Christmas too!\r\n\r\n<h3>Keep calm while cooking<\/h3>\r\n\r\nWe all feel the strain when the turkey has to go in the oven, so why not turn on the\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.familiesonline.co.uk\/seasonal\/christmas\/our-favourite-christmas-songs\">Christmas carols<\/a>\u00a0and have a sing-along.
