Half-term has crept up on us and now it’s here. Signs of spring have started to blossom and the sun is shining so take advantage and plan some days out with your little ones.<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/header>\n

We’ve rounded up a few of our favourite attractions throughout the UK to help you keep your kids entertained this week. We’d love to hear what you got up to:<\/p>\n\n

The National Trust<\/a><\/h3>\n

Encourage the whole family to get back to nature with wildlife trails, bird box making and other events and workshops happening at many of National Trust properties across the UK. Plus you can get 2% back for your kids on new memberships.<\/p>\n\n

Painshill Park, Surrey<\/a><\/h3>\n

Is offering children aged 8-13 the chance to take part in Wild Woodland Camp, for \u00a345 a day they will learn campfire cooking, den building and much more! Making this a great alternative to childcare if you don’t have time off.<\/p>\n\n

The Eden Project<\/a><\/h3>\n

If you haven’t had chance to visit the Eden project, it’s a must. Explore the massive Biomes housing the largest rainforest in captivity, stunning plants and exhibitions. Family tickets are available so make a day out of it!<\/p>\n\n

Warkworth Castle<\/a><\/h3>\n

Let your little ones pretend to be a king or queen for the day in this mighty Northumberland fortress crowning the hilltop above the River Coquet. Until the 24th February they’re running Castle Quest to celebrate the release of the new film The Kid Who Would Be King.<\/p>\n\n

Cannon Hall Farm<\/a><\/h3>\n

Play farmer for the day with your children and take them for a day out to Cannon Hall Farm in Barnsley. It’s currently their lambing festival, where you can hear daily talks from shepherds, lamb bottle feeding demonstrations (very cute), tractor trailer rides and access to the soft play area.<\/p>\n\n

Chester Zoo<\/a><\/h3>\n

There’s so much to see and do at Chester Zoo with over 21,000 of the world’s most exotic and endangered animals to discover in 125 acres of award-winning gardens. It’s well worth the visit.<\/p>\n\n
