It is difficult to save money for your family, especially when you have kids – you didn\u2019t realise how expensive they\u2019d be, right?<\/span><\/p>\n\n<\/header>\n

4) Keep an eye out for vouchers, codes and sales<\/strong><\/a> and take advantage, even if that means buying coats in summer.<\/span><\/p>\n

5) Budget each month<\/strong>, work out your outgoings and move and spare money you can into a savings account, try to stick to it, you\u2019ll soon get used to not spending money on things you don\u2019t need.<\/p>\n

6) Plan your weekly meals<\/strong> so when you go to the supermarket you\u2019re not buying food that\u2019s going to be wasted and go off or sit in the cupboard for months.<\/p>\n

7) Swap utility provider<\/strong>, you can save hundreds a year by moving to another company, get a quote online using a comparison site to find out how you could save.<\/p>\n

8) Use sites like eBay<\/a><\/strong> and sell what you no longer need to make some extra cash<\/strong>, you can sell everything from furniture to clothes to electricals.<\/p>\n

9) Look at free things to do in the area rather than paying for family days out<\/strong>, there’s plenty of parks, museums and events have free entry or kids go free.<\/p>\n
