I&#39;m sure this is probably to do with its roots (Mothering Sunday is more traditional, whereas I think we got Father&#39;s Day from the US, along with chewing gum&nbsp;and nylon tights). But anyway, it does seem like a good excuse for your kids to show how much they appreciate their dads.   <\/p>\n<p>              <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0pt none; margin: 10px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/6\/TopGearDVD_120609.gif\" alt=\"\" width=\"110\" height=\"143\" \/>&nbsp;\n<td width=\"5%\">\n<p>     My son and his dad are virtual racing drivers &#8211; they both have F1 ambitions, but without the sponsorship or in my son&#39;s case, of course, a driving licence.
