If you\u2019re at home next week and you\u2019re looking for something to do, here are some suggestions for outings the whole family can enjoy – please let me know your ideas, too at editor@kidstart.co.uk<\/a>\r\n\r\n\"\"\r\n\r\nGot an aspiring Aidan Davis<\/a> or Natalie Okri<\/a> from Britain\u2019s Got Talent<\/a> in the family? If you\u2019re in London on Tuesday 26 May, take them along to the West End Family Fun Day at the Clore ballroom in the Royal Festival Hall<\/a>. They can enjoy a ballet workshop, a singing lesson from top voice coach Mary King and performances by cast members from the stage shows Thriller \u2013 Live and Stomp, plus learn to dance and sing Consider Yourself from Oliver!<\/a>. The event \u2013 a taster of the fantastic Kids Week<\/a> is free, open to everyone and there\u2019s no need to book.\r\n\r\nKenilworth Castle & Elizabethan Garden, Warwickshire<\/a> has an action-packed, fun-filled festival especially for kids.\u00a0 They can learn what it takes to become a knight of the realm, take part in circus skills workshops, enjoy puppet shows, falconry displays, have their faces painted, follow the treasure trail, play games and have a whale of a time making sandcastles on the Victorian beach.\r\n\r\nThe National Trust<\/a> has lots of activities planned and on Brownsea Island in Dorset your little ones can get as close to creepy crawlies as they dare with the Wildlife Gourmets Trail.\u00a0 \u00a0\"\"\r\n\r\nCannock Chase<\/a> museum is offering a week of pirate fun, including workshops where your kids can make everything they need to become a pirate.\r\n\r\nIt\u2019s the 65th Anniversary of D-Day on 6 June, and to celebrate HMS Belfast<\/a> has a week of action-packed events, including the chance for children under 16 the chance to dress up as crew members in full battledress.\r\n\r\nCoventry Transport Museum<\/a> is an absolutely fantastic free day out for your little Jensen Buttons or Lewis Hamiltons, with everything from a De Lorean \u2013 made famous in the Back to the Future films \u2013 to E-type Jags and racing cars on display, and a great model car collection.\r\n\r\nKids will love the animal centric activities at Chessington World of Adventures<\/a> to celebrate the Year of the Gorilla.
