With Easter around the corner we wanted to share some ways to keep the kids entertained indoors. <\/strong><\/p>\n<\/header>\n<p>With usual Easter half-term plans cancelled you can still make it a positive time to remember for your little ones, it&#8217;s a chance to spend more time together than you usually would so make the most of it.<\/p>\n<p>Here are six ideas that we have put together to keep your family keep occupied whilst self-isolating:<\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"color: #5fae7f;\">Enter our competition<\/span><\/h2>\n<p>For your chance to <span style=\"color: #5fae7f;\"><strong>win a boost of \u00a310, \u00a315 or \u00a325 your little one&#8217;s KidStart or Beanstalk savings<\/strong><\/span> let them design their own Easter egg! Competition ends 17th April&#8230;crayons at the ready!<\/p>\n<h2>Get craftin\u2019<\/h2>\n<p>Getting creative with the kids is a wonderful way take your mind off what is happening and keep them entertained. Find all the blankets, chairs, cushions in your home and help the kids build their own fort, you can judge which is the best. You can also team up and build a bigger fort in the front room, decorate it with fairy lights and have a movie night cuddled up together. Trust us, den building is as much fun for adults as it is for the kids!<\/p>\n<h2>Cook up a storm<\/h2>\n<p>Get the kids in the kitchen and cook or bake something delicious with them. Don\u2019t worry if you\u2019re not quite Jamie Oliver or Mary Berry there\u2019s tonnes of easy recipes online. We recommend checking out supermarket websites and their recipe sections like on <strong><a href=\"\/partner\/tescogroceries.aspx?t=lwk\">Tesco<\/a> where you can earn up to \u00a34 back.<\/strong> We love the look of Rita\u2019s Rowdy Enchiladas and the Peanut Butter and Chocolate Thumbprint cookies. If you\u2019re in need of baking trays, cookie cutters or new weighing scales then head to <strong><a href=\"\/partner\/argos.aspx?t=lwk\">Argos<\/a> and get 1% back or <a href=\"\/partner\/johnlewis.aspx?t=lwk\">John Lewis &amp; Partners<\/a> and get 1.5% back.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>Green fingers<\/h2>\n<p>Now that sun is starting to shine if you\u2019re lucky enough to have a garden or balcony then why not plant some flowers, veg, fruit or herbs with your little ones. Be inventive find things for them to crawl under, run around jump over, you can time them to make them try harder. If you do this more than once you can create a leader board and get them to try and beat their time.<\/p>\n<h2>Random acts of kindness<\/h2>\n<p>Now more than ever it\u2019s important to be kind and care for each other so random of acts of kindness is such a lovely way of doing this. You may have seen examples of this on social media and the news. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/www.mentalhealth.org.uk\/coronavirus\/random-acts-kindness&quot;\" target=\"_&quot;blank&quot;\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Mental Health Foundation<\/a><\/strong> has a page on acts you can do and get your kids involved with.
