It\u2019s packed full of healthy, yummy meals for the whole family, including mouth-watering recipes for babies and toddlers. There\u2019s a huge variety of recipes ranging from Spicy Sausage Meatball Pasta to my personal favourite, the Japanese-inspired Stir Fried Beef with Noodles.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0pt none; margin: 10px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/5\/AnnabelKarmelProfileApronHIGHRES2.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"130\" height=\"179\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Here are two recipes for you to try \u2013 plus, below, win a copy of Top 100 Pasta Dishes!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0pt none; margin: 10px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/5\/babyvegetablepasta.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"179\" height=\"168\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #419639;\">Baby vegetable pasta<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Annabel says: \u2018As your baby gets older it is important to encourage him to chew, so dice vegetables instead of pureeing them. Frozen peas and sweetcorn are good standbys to keep in your freezer.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients\n<\/strong>50 g (2 oz) baby shell pasta\n10 g (V oz) butter\n50 g (2 oz) onion, finely chopped\n30 g (1 oz) carrot, finely diced\n30 g (1 oz) red pepper, finely diced\n30 g (1 oz) frozen sweetcorn\n30 g (1 oz) frozen peas\n10 g (V oz) plain flour\n250 ml (9 fl oz) vegetable stock\n2 tbsp basil, chopped\n1 tsp lemon juice\n30 g (1 oz) Parmesan cheese, grated<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method\n<\/strong>Cook the pasta according to the instructions on the packet. Drain. Melt the butter in a saucepan. Add the onion, carrot and pepper, cover with a lid and saut\u00e9 for 10 minutes until nearly soft. Add the sweetcorn and peas and saut\u00e9 for 2 minutes. Add the flour, then add the stock, stirring until thickened. Simmer for 3 minutes, then add the basil, lemon juice and Parmesan. Stir in the drained pasta. Serve.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #419639;\">Salami, red pepper and mozzarella pasta<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Annabel says: \u2018Most children like salami, so here is a simple recipe that you can put together in about 15 minutes.\u2019<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft\" style=\"border: 0pt none; margin: 10px;\" src=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2010\/5\/salamiredpepperandmzzarella.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"204\" height=\"191\" \/><\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>180 g (6 oz) pasta shells\n2 tbsp olive oil\n1 red pepper, finely diced\n1 small garlic clove, crushed\n50 g (2 oz) thinly sliced salami, roughly chopped\n150 g (5V oz) cherry tomatoes, chopped into 8\n75 g (3 oz) mozzarella, cubed\ngrated Parmesan cheese, to serve<\/p>\n<p><strong>Method<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cook the pasta in boiling salted water according to the instructions on the packet. Drain. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Fry the pepper for 5 minutes, then add the garlic and salami. Fry for another 5 minutes. Add the drained pasta, cherry tomatoes and mozzarella and season.
