Staycationing is all very well, but if it's raining you do need to come up with imaginative ways to entertain the kids unless you want World War 3 to break out. Or, as happened to my friend Sarah recently, suncream rubbed in your carpet and your tomato plants dug up from their pots. <\/p>\n

Over the next few weeks I'll be sharing my top tips for keeping children of all ages entertained on a budget and to kick off, I wanted to show you these fantastic Shiny School<\/a> videos from children's nutrition company Haliborange<\/a>. <\/p>\n

Hosted by CBeebies presenter Chris Corcoran, they include arts-and-craft sessions for ages 4-6, 7-9 and 10-12. They're very easy to follow and should keep your brood out of trouble for a few hours, at least. My favourite is the Andy Warhol session. Guaranteed to bring out the artist in you as well as your kids. <\/p>\n
