Why? Well because she\u2019s 32 and he\u2019s 17. As a result their relationship has been labelled on one side as \u2018vile\u2019 and \u2018disgusting\u2019 and on the other a triumph for the cougar woman.\n\n<div id=\"attachment_4402\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/cougar-women-and-toy-boy-men\/harry-doll\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-4402\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-4402\" class=\"size-full wp-image-4402\" title=\"Harry-doll\" src=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/12\/Harry-doll.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"300\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-4402\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Would you date a man who has his own doll?<\/p><\/div>\n\nCaroline has said, \u2018I shouldn\u2019t have to worry about what I do but people aren\u2019t accepting of big age gaps\u2019. However, it\u2019s probably closer to the truth to say people aren\u2019t accepting of big age gaps when the woman is the older person. Let\u2019s face it the world is littered with older men and younger women and most get by without criticism of any sort.\n\nI myself know at least three couples where the man is 15 years older, and no-one has ever said anything about them. Aside from double standards (which are obviously at work here), what makes many feel uncomfortable, is not the age gap but the fact that Harry Styles is so young.\n\nYes, it\u2019s not illegal and he\u2019s not your average teenager but as a mum I wouldn\u2019t be too happy if my 17-year old son or daughter came home with a 32-year old partner. I\u2019d worry about what was going on, the long-term effect and what my own child was getting from this relationship.\n\nBut what do you think? Would you let your son date a woman 15 years older? Or should we just let them be?
