I remember when Botox first came out and how disgusted everyone was at the idea. Now my local salon and dentist \u00a0offers it and plenty of women I know have it. The same goes for fillers, cosmetic surgery and even fish nibbling off the hard skin on your feet. Where once no sane woman would have gone near these ideas, now everyone seems to be at it.\u00a0<\/strong>\n\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/the-new-painful-facials-would-you-have-one\/1-8\/\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-6905\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-6905\" title=\"1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.livingwithkids.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/12.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"225\" height=\"250\" \/><\/a>\n\nDon&#8217;t get me wrong I want to look good as much as anyone else. I&#8217;m a sucker for skin firming creams, I dye my grey hairs and constantly wonder why I wasn&#8217;t happier with my looks when I was in my 20s. But there are some things I draw the line at like facial surgery to look younger and anything that causes me unnecessary pain.\n\nSo I, for one won&#8217;t be trying the new fire facial\u00a0in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.huffingtonpost.com\/2013\/03\/06\/fire-facial-treatment-huo-liao_n_2819709.html\">Huffington Post<\/a>. Dubbed the\u00a0flame facial, and known as Hu\u01d2 li\u00e1o, it&#8217;s a treatment where open flames on a towel are used to stimulate the skin and address dullness, sagging and wrinkles. Or another treatment I read about in yesterday&#8217;s <a href=\"http:\/\/www.dailymail.co.uk\/femail\/article-2294911\/Alice-Hart-Davis-tries-agonising-ultrasound-facial-Ulthera--beloved-Courteney-Cox--Rita-Rakus-London-clinic.html\">Daily Mail<\/a>\u00a0 &#8211; Ulthera &#8211; noted as being the world&#8217;s most agonising facial. It may have amazing results but considering clinics in the US routinely prescribe their patients Valium before the treatment or even sedate them, means it&#8217;s off my list for good.\n\nSo what&#8217;s the solution? For me it&#8217;s a healthy diet, more sleep (when possible), good make up and a rational approach to getting older.\n\nHow about you?
