What about you?<\/em>\r\n<h2><strong>10 things I really want for Mother&#8217;s Day are:<\/strong><\/h2>\r\n<strong>1.<\/strong> To be given hours and hours to read in peace.\r\n\r\n<strong>2<\/strong>. Not to have to think about PE kits\/homework\/uniforms\/instrument practice for a whole day.\r\n\r\n<strong>3.<\/strong> For 18 years worth of worry to be miraculously erased.\r\n\r\n<strong>4.<\/strong> A whole day of not dealing with chin hairs. (Neither my husband\u2019s nor mine).\r\n\r\n<strong>5.<\/strong> Someone to rub my feet, just, you know, whenever.\r\n\r\n<strong>6.<\/strong> Ryan Gosling to write a poem about the wonder of my life-giving uterus and deliver it personally.\r\n\r\n<strong>7.<\/strong> To have a bath without the whole family trying to join me, including the cat.\r\n\r\n<strong>8.<\/strong> A drawing of me by my kids where I don\u2019t have \u2018a cross mouth\u2019.\r\n\r\n<strong>9.<\/strong> To be allowed the WHOLE of the sofa and the TV remote for a day.\r\n\r\n<strong>10.<\/strong> Someone else to deal with the family pets (that includes any nits).\r\n<h2><strong>What would you like for mother&#8217;s day?<\/strong><\/h2>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"It&#8217;s Mother&#8217;s Day on Sunday March 30th, and while women across the country will be inundated with bunches of flowers and handmade cards from their children, all I want is time to read&#8230; oh and a few other things besides.
