Gordon Brown beats David Cameron in poll
17 June 2009
Brown is sexier dad than Cameron, but Pitt and Beckham take the top prize!
Gordon Brown has finally beaten David Cameron in a poll.
According to Fathers Day research by family blog www.livingwithkids.co.uk, Gordon brown received twice as many votes as David Cameron or Nick Clegg in a poll to find the sexiest celebrity dad.
Sadly for the political leaders, the fight was over joint-last and second-to-last places, with Brad Pitt being chosen as overall winner with David Beckham in second place.
Other winners and losers in the poll of 1000 Kidstart.co.uk members included Gordon Ramsay, who secured only 3% of the vote following a run of negative press coverage, and Jude Law with 7% of the vote, showing that fidelity isn’t always a major consideration when it comes to sexy dads!
Liz Jarvis, editor of www.LivingWithKids.co.uk, said: “Its no surprise to see Pitt and Beckham at the top of the poll, but it must be encouraging for our prime minister that he’s still beating the opposition at something!
“Fathers Day is all about recognising the great work that dads do and this poll shows that UK women clearly recognise some dads more than others!”
