Breakfast in America?

We’re off to Chicago, and it’s the first time we’ll have travelled using the ESTA. I just hope I did everything right when I was filling in the online application forms. For some reason I always break into a cold sweat when I’m entering the US – I have absolutely nothing to hide, but something about the questions ‘where are you staying/how long will you be here/what’s the purpose of your visit’ and the way they now take your fingerprints AND look into your eye with that weird gadget makes me very uncomfortable. I’d be absolutely rubbish at a lie detector test. Hopefully they’ll let us in…

Whatever you’re up to this Bank Holiday weekend, have a good one!

Have a great time – I too suffer from the cycle of: T*ry to look innocent (which I am) *Sweat profusely *Look a bit shifty *Worry about looking shifty & sweaty *Look guilty (which I’m not) *Blush deep red *Fail to speak coherantly *Sweat further as I begin to panic … apparently mark myself out as completely innocent due to my uncool behaviour Have a great time

Talking of breakfast in america, looking to take the children to new york for a santa break (instead of lapland) – a once in a lifetime trip, anyone know of where to go to see santa, breakfast with santa etc – other than a few hour queue in a department store! would be most grateful for any info, thanks x
