Decorating a nursery is a huge responsibility. Not least because you want your baby to (hopefully) go to sleep in their new bedroom at some point, but also if you don’t know whether you’re having a boy or a girl. The best plan, I think, is probably to keep the walls neutral and then add colour/interest with soft furnishings. Before they’re old enough to tell you what they want, though, decorating a nursery is a huge responsibility. That’s why I love the brilliantly unisex new bedroom range from Mothercare. You could go for the traditional pastel yellow Sleepy Farm or strike out with the primary coloured (and incredibly cute) Moose & Bird or Funky Jungle. If you order through KidStart, you get 5% back – which as Harriet’s mum and dad would agree, will come in very handy when they’re old enough to choose their own bedroom scheme.
