Do any of the finalists really have the X Factor?

We're feeling a bit flat in this house after last night's X Factor. Because the only person we really, really wanted to see in the final (apart from Jedward, for the novelty value, obviously) was Danyl, who may have been irritating but at least he could sing. And now that he's gone – well, to be honest, we're not really bothered who wins.

Joe's obviously a great singer and will do well in the West End. Stacey's cabaret-style performance on Saturday night did her no favours. And Olly seems to have lost his confidence. Put it this way. We won't be rushing to buy any of their albums. In fact, the highlight of the shows this weekend was Cheryl's new hair do.

So, who do you want to win now – or are you like us, feeling a bit over the whole competition?

In all honesty I was pleased that daryl went – but the show seems to have lost the whole vibe since Jedward went. Twitter is usually alive with x factor banter on a saturday and sunday night but last weekend (after the twins went) there was nothing. To be fair it was back a little this weekend though we were discussing how we though Cheryl was pregnant rather than anyones performance. I would like Stacey to win but I dont think that any of them have career logevity.

Agree 100%. I loved Danyl especially last week in his suit and the shorter hair, and he was the only ones who singing voice we actually liked. T’husband was less enamoured with his hair and whistle…. Not bothered about watching next week, Joe will win it. Dull! And yes he is a West End Singer – Joseph yes, MTV no!

Like you, I am slightly over the competition this year. Although Jedward were very entertaining and probably the highlight of the show before they were voted out, the fact that they were put through in the first place turned the competition into a bit of a joke. I hope Joe wins but have to say that none of them are particularly briiliant. Alexandra and Leona both had the xfactor. None of these kids do.

I wasn’t keen on Danyl – he opened his mouth too wide as if he had it hinged! I’m originally from Newcastle so would like little Joe to win (and wasn’t his granny fantastic!). I’m annoying my family as I can do a passable impresssion of Cheryl Cole (purely the voice, I hasten to add). I go aroung the house saying "eeh, ah just luv ya, ye like a little bruther to us: ye reeeelly nailed that song". Simple things eh!?

I totally agree – I was so disappointed to see Danyl go. I feel he was given a real unfairly rough time of it – all the criticism about his confidence at the beginning lost him his edge, that little spark that was truly original. There’s no ‘x’ factor in what’s left…

I was sad when Jedward went as the competition lost some spark. Wasn’t sorry to see Danyl go, I found him annoying and insincere. I think Olly can be entertaining but the comedy dance stuff wouldn’t cut it in the real world for long. Stacey can sing but isn’t a natural performer. Joe is brilliant and my favourite to win, but I agree he’s pure West End material and will probably do Joseph, etc. I don’t think any of the finalists are a potential successful pop star like Leona Lewis has been. But then some of the past winners have disappeared now haven’t they? Shane, Leon, er… can’t even remember others…

Agree with the others – definitely no longevity in their careers AND the moment Danyl left, I lost interest and he’s proper talent. Olly’s a bit hot but the dancing is wearing thin and George Michael week exposed his weak vocals. Stacey, have to mute her when she speaks and too samey, although a sweet girl. Joe, as Emily said, there’s a musical role with his name on it. Literally. Again, nice person but blank walls are more exciting…
