"Drayton Manor is fun for all the family, from the very young to those a little scared of big rides, it has something for everyone. I went along with my other half, my 17 month old daughter, my 21 year old brother, my sister and my 9 month old niece and we all had a great day and all found something we really liked.

For the children it was Thomas Land and the Zoo. BG really liked the Sodor Classic Cars, and of course the big Thomas shop. At the Zoo there is over 100 species of animals including tigers and panthers who BG really loved, she though they were big cats. Having such young children with us meant we spent most of the time in the Zoo but that was not a bad thing, they have a big Thomas play area there and picnic tables where we had lunch.

I’m not as brave as I used to be so I went on the more meek rides like Excalibur which is boat ride with twist, The Pirate adventure which BG liked as well and the Roller Coaster.  My Brother and sister who are more adventurous went on the thrill rides such as Apocalypse – The world's first stand-up tower drop and G-Force  A white-knuckle journey through 385 meters of rolls, tight camelbacks, high backed curves and loops at over 70 kph!

Drayton Manor is not a huge theme park but there is plenty to do. The facilities are well spaced, though some of the toilets could do with a makeover.  There are plenty of places to eat, with good picnic areas if you taking your own pack lunch.

It was a great day out; Drayton Manor is a mixture of family fun, the zoo, an old fashioned fairground and a thrill theme park. We will be going back again."
