Here are my holiday beauty essentials – what are yours?

One of the best things about going on holiday and getting all sun-kissed and gorgeous is you really don’t have to worry too much about make-up – slick on some lipstick or lip gloss, and you’re good to go. But you still have to take care of your skin and hair. Here are my holiday beauty essentials:

A really good high SPF sun spray. I take sun protection very seriously but Clinique's Body Spray (SPF 25) is my favourite beauty find of the summer. Not only does it take only a few minutes to apply (and you can even do your own back) because of the spray can but it gives fantastic protection, in and out of the water. £17, available from John Lewis.

The Body Shop's Body Butter. Perfect for giving your skin some TLC after a day on the beach/by the pool/on a rollercoaster, pleasingly gloopy but easy to apply and smells yummy. From £3.

Advance Techniques Treatment Masks. Holidays are the perfect opportunity to treat your hair and this is just magic, this stuff – I promise you, it transforms your tresses from straw to silky in a matter of minutes. £2.15 (bargain!) available from Avon.

Travel hair straighteners. If like me you want to avoid having Monica from Friends hair on holiday in the evenings then these are great – and they take up hardly any room in your case (available from Boots, £19.99).

What are your holiday beauty must-haves? I’d love to hear your tips.
