Kids Sports For Free This Summer

As the summer holidays cometh you’re probably wondering how to keep the kids entertained while keeping your bank account happy. The good news is there are a number of free (yes you read that right FREE!) activities your kids can do, here’s what you need to know.
ASDA has thousands of free school holiday sessions available in a variety of sports thanks to their ASDA sporting chance initiative. Choose from basketball, football, martial arts, dancing, and many more. All you have to do is;
•Pick up vouchers in store
•Use the search engine to see what’s available near you.
•Book early to secure your place.
•Advance bookings can be made from now for Scotland and Northern Ireland, and from 16 July for England and Wales.

Tesco is offering football for all 5 to 11 year olds with their FA Tesco Skills programme.
During the holidays the programme will run across 26 counties giving kids the chance to keep fit through football. You don’t need to buy anything, just go to http://tescoskills.thefa.com/FindSession and book online in advance. Each session lasts two hours.
Swim
You can also get free swims courtesy of Schweppes Abbey Well water bottle tops, Mon-Fri at 400 UK pools. All 500ml/750ml bottle tops are valid for your free swim; just take the bottle top (it should say Sch..wim on the top) to your nearest pool during the free swim sessions.
If you live in Wales, all youngsters in Wales can swim free at local pools throughout the school holidays thanks to Sports Wales. Public leisure centres will offer at least 14 hours of free swimming per week, including a minimum of seven hours of aquatic activities such as snorkeling, life saving and water discos to under-16s.
