Today is Rare Disease Day 2011 which aims to raise awareness of genetic conditions around the world.
Did you know that in the UK, four out of every 100 babies is born with a genetic condition? Almost a third of babies born with a serious genetic condition die in childhood, and another third live with chronic disability.
