Our favourite World Book Day costumes

World Book Day was last week and we were incredibly impressed with the costumes you guys shared with us on our Facebook page so we wanted to select some of our favourites to share on our blog.

Whether bought online, handmade or a bit of both, we loved the creativity and detail that went in to each outfit. Check out our pick of World Book Day costumes below!

Peter Pan’s Shadow which was put together by Carolyn. The morphe suit was bought on Amazon and the hat and tunic were made from recycling centre material.

World Book Day Lion King

Philip’s wife made this rawesome outfit the morning of World Book Day. Their son wanted to go as a lion from Lion King.

Samantha’s Mary Poppins homemade costume is practically perfect in every way. We love the detailing on the hat.

This Kipper costume created by Dani is a team favourite. She said it was easy to make and can be worn again without the fleece belly.

Fern’s quick thinking at 10pm the night before World Book Day was brilliant, she managed to find a very cute Hungry Caterpillar outfit.

World Book Day Funny Bones
