A completed quote is not an Eligible Purchase and therefore is not eligible for KidStart Savings, you will only be eligible for KidStart Savings on a completed purchase of a policy.

You will only be eligible for KidStart Savings if Compare the Market (the “Merchant”) is able to link your purchase to the KidStart website. This means you must:

  • Log into your KidStart account;
  • Click from KidStart directly to the Merchant’s website ensuring you have selected the correct product category; and
  • Generate a brand new quote and make your purchase immediately (in the same session and without exiting your browser).

    What will stop me earning KidStart Savings?

  • KidStart Savings are eligible for customers who are located in the UK only.
  • Editing or using a previously saved quote from your account on the Merchant’s website will not be tracked and you will not be eligible for KidStart Savings.
  • If you apply an additional discount that reduces your overall purchase price, this may cause your KidStart Savings to be declined or reduced. E.g., Voucher codes, student discount, staff discount.
  • If your purchase is not fully completed online.
  • If you participate in any other offer/ promotion that is not covered in the retailer KidStart Savings rates.
  • If you, or the insurer, cancel the policy before KidStart Savings are deposited in your KidStart account.
  • If you don't pay your Insurance Premium in full or, if paying by Direct Debit your monthly payments are not kept up to date.
  • If you have any cookie blockers active in your browser that prevent the transaction to be tracked correctly.

    Good to know.

  • KidStart Savings will be confirmed after your policy has been active for at least 90 days.
  • Payment could take up to 130-180 days after validation.
  • This offer is only available to United Kingdom residents who have purchased a valid insurance policy through the Merchant’s website via KidStart.
  • This programme is being monitored. KidStart members transacting fraudulently with the Merchant will have their membership terminated immediately and may have their details passed to the authorities for further investigation.
  • KidStart Savings are not issued by the Merchant. If you have any queries regarding KidStart Savings or payments, please contact KidStart Customer Support directly and not the Merchant.
  • KidStart Savings rates are subject to change and may increase or decrease at any time without prior notice.
  • The Merchant reserves all rights to take action (including legal action) as is considered necessary in its sole discretion in order to prevent or redress any fraudulent, or otherwise unlawful use of their website.
  • This Merchant calculates KidStart Savings excluding VAT, delivery and any other relevant charges.
  • The Merchant’s decision will be final.

    What to do when?

  • If your KidStart Savings are not tracked, the Merchant allows up to 45 days after the purchase date to submit a claim.
  • If your KidStart Savings are rejected, the Merchant allows up to 6 months after the purchase date to submit a claim.
