Important information which will affect your eligibility to earn Kidstart savings

You must obtain a quote through Kidstart and purchase that policy through Kidstart in one go.

KidStart savings will be paid once Co-op Insurance Services has verified that the policy is in force and premiums have been paid for a minimum of 6 months. If either party cancels or if it is made void by the insurer / policy underwriter within this period, the Kidstart savings will not be paid.

KidStart savings will remain pending until Co-op Insurance Services has confirmed that 6 consecutive monthly payments have been received.

You will not be able to earn KidStart savings if:

• if you have previously held a Life Insurance policy through Co-op
• you do not complete your purchase in one session
• you apply or use any other offers or discounts available from Kidstart, except when you use Co-op membership and colleague discounts which are available online.
• you obtain a quote from a price comparison website and then purchase through Kidstart
• If you obtain a quote directly through the Co-op Insurance website and go on to purchase through Kidstart
• If your application is completed over the telephone
• If you take out the policy with stolen or fabricated details

All KidStart savings will be issued via Kidstart and not Co-op Insurance Services or the insurer / policy underwriter. If you have any queries regarding KidStart savings or payments, please raise an enquiry with Kidstart directly.

If you apply an additional discount that reduces your overall purchase price, this may cause your KidStart savings to be declined or reduced. e.g. Voucher codes and student discount. However, Co-op membership and colleague discounts available online can be used in conjunction with this offer.

KidStart savings will not be paid if you attempt to get KidStart savings in conjunction with any other offers through Co-op or any other partners/promotions that are not covered in the retailer KidStart savings rates.

Purchasing the policy in one sitting will help ensure the sale is tracked. The policy must be able to be traced or tracked back to Kidstart for KidStart savings to be paid.

Applicants for insurance are subject to normal underwriting criteria which is determined by the policy holder when it is applied at quotation.

Life Insurance through Co-op is available to UK residents aged between 18 and 70 (further exclusions may apply).

This KidStart savings offer only applies to Life Insurance through Co-op and does not apply to any other Co-op Insurance Services products.
